What is Aquadrate Cream?

Aquadrate Cream is a cream that is designed to treat dry skin conditions. This cream is known as an emollient. Emollients work by helping to restore moisture in the skin that has dried out. Aquadrate contains urea, which is the skin’s natural moisturiser. Urea is combined with white soft paraffin which forms a layer of oil on the skin that prevents water from escaping the skin, causing dry skin.

What causes dry skin?

Dry skin can be caused by a number of different factors, which can be either external or internal in nature. External factors that can cause dry skin include:

  • Hot or cold weather
  • UV sunlight
  • Washing the skin too often
  • Using the wrong skin care products
  • Some types of medication

Internal factors that can cause dry skin include:

  • Genetic history of dry skin
  • Hormone changes
  • Your diet
  • Ageing

Other factors that can contribute to dry skin include sun exposure, smoking, and dehydration.

Who is this cream suitable for?

Aquadrate is suitable to be used by people who are suffering from the effects of dry skin. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the cream. If your skin is moist or broken, or if you are using any other form of medication, then it is recommended that you speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Aquadrate.

Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this cream?

Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a medical professional for advice before using this cream.

How should Aquadrate Cream be used?

To use Aquadrate, wash any affected skin and rinse off the soap, ensuring that there are no traces left. Dry the skin and then apply as much cream as necessary to cover the affected area. Do this twice a day.

Are there any side effects?

Like with many types of medication, there is a chance of side effects. Potential side effects include irritation when applying. If you notice irritation or any other side effect, stop using and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible. You can also record any side effect that you notice using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Why do I need to answer questions to buy this product?
