What is Aveeno Dermexa Soothing Oat Bath Soak Sachets?

Aveeno Dermexa Soothing Oat Bath Soak Sachets are specially formulated to soothe very dry, itchy and irritable skin. Simply add one of the 100% natural colloidal oat, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic bath soak sachets into your bath to calm and relieve uncomfortable, sensitive and even eczema-prone skin. These bath soak sachets gently moisturise the skin, leaving you with soft, smooth and healthy-looking skin after each bath. This product contains 8 sachets.

How to use this product

To use Aveeno Dermexa Soothing Oat Bath Soak Sachets, pour 1 sachet into running water and stir in the product until it’s completely dissolved, ensuring that there isn’t any unmixed oatmeal at the bottom of the bathtub. For best results, soak in the bath for 15-30 minutes; soaking for too long can dry your skin out further. Afterwards, gently pat your skin dry and apply Aveeno Dermexa Daily Emollient Cream to lock in hydration.

How does natural colloidal oat relieve dry, itchy skin?

Aveeno Dermexa Soothing Oat Bath Soak Sachets contain natural colloidal oat that’s traditionally used to restore moisture to dry skin by forming a protective film over the surface of your skin to help restore its natural pH levels.

What is dry skin?

Certain people have naturally dry skin, where the skin doesn’t retain enough moisture. Others can develop dry skin during colder weather or due to a condition like eczema or psoriasis. If you have dry skin you may experience tightness, especially after showering, bathing or swimming. Additionally, your skin can change in texture or appearance like being rough, red and cracking, and it may flake or peel. Dry skin can be extra sensitive, too.

How do I know if I have sensitive skin?

Sensitive skin is a common problem which usually means your skin is easily irritated by products or environmental factors. You may notice redness, dryness and your skin may develop a bumpy rash when it’s exposed to a trigger. Your skin might also be more prone to breakouts and sunburn compared to people without sensitive skin.

Storage information

Only used once so far. It can be lumpy but I followed advice from other reviews to mix in a jug first and it was fine. Was gentle enough for my sensitive and reactive skin.
