What is Aveeno Skin Relief Restoring Hand Cream?

Aveeno Skin Relief Restoring Hand Cream is a moisturiser that helps to soothe and comfort dry or chapped hands. If your skin is feeling tight, rough, or very dry, this skin can provide the intense hydration you need to leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and healthy. Aveeno Skin Relief hand cream absorbs quickly, so you can use it throughout the day or whenever your skin needs hydration.

How to use this cream

Apply Aveeno Skin Relief cream to your hands whenever you need it. Use as much or as little as you’d like to hydrate your dry or chapped skin.

Can I use this product if I have eczema or dermatitis?

Aveeno skin relief cream has been dermatologically tested and is suitable for sensitive skin. It uses a high tolerance formula, which means that it is very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction that could cause a flare-up of your skin condition. As this is a very hydrating formula that also helps to restore your skin's natural defensive barrier, this could be the ideal choice for those who suffer from eczema and need extra sensitive care for their dry skin.

Why do I have dry skin on my hands?

You can get dry skin on your hands for lots of different reasons, and it’s very a very common condition. Some of the most common reasons that the skin on your hands can dry out include:

  • Irritants, e.g. soaps, detergents, etc.
  • Washing your hands too much
  • Dry air, e.g. air-conditioned or heated environments
  • Weather, e.g. dry, cold, windy, or hot weather
  • Dehydration
  • Some medications
  • Some medical conditions, e.g. eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis

How will Aveeno Skin Relief hand cream help to repair my dry skin?

Aveeno Skin Relief hand cream uses Aveeno’s unique Triple Oat Complex to moisturise your dry skin. The colloidal oatmeal used in these products is traditionally used to restore moisture to dry skin, forming a protective film over the surface of your skin and helping to restore your skin’s natural pH levels.

When should this cream not be used?

Do not use Aveeno Skin Relief hand cream if you’re allergic to any of the listed ingredients. For external use only, avoid contact with eyes or other sensitive areas.

Does this product have any side effects?

Although this product has been specially formulated to reduce the risk of allergies, this still includes symptoms of allergic reaction.
