How does Balneum Plus Cream help to relieve eczema and psoriasis?
Those who have eczema and psoriasis often have less of the natural substance Urea in their skin. Balneum Plus Cream contains Urea as an active ingredient, helping to replace the Urea that may be lacking in the skin. This helps to increase moisture in the skin for up to 24 hours. It also contains lauromacrogols, which help to relieve itching caused by skin conditions.
How to use Balneum Plus Cream.
Wash your hands before using Balneum Plus Cream. Apply cream to the affected areas twice a day until your symptoms have eased. Your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist can provide more information about how long to use Balneum Plus Cream.
When should Balneum Plus Cream not be used?
Speak to your doctor of Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Balneum Plus Cream on children. Breastfeeding mothers should not use this product on breasts immediately before breastfeeding. Do not use Balneum Plus Cream if you are allergic to urea, lauromacrogols, or any of the other listed ingredients. Balneum Plus Cream is not recommended f you are suffering from severe and widespread reddening of the skin. Do not use this product if the affected area has suddenly become inflamed or is oozing or infected.
As with all medicines, Balneum Plus Cream can have side effects, although not everyone will get them. These side effects include:
- Burning sensation
- Redness
- Itching
- Formation of pustules
- Eczema getting worse if used on inflamed skin
