What is the Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit?
The Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit is a temporary repair kit that will help you to replace your filling or loose crown or cap until you can see a dentist. Ideal for those who need an emergency solution to a painful broken filling or crown.
Why do fillings fall out?
Fillings can fall out due to the natural wear and tear they go through as you use your teeth. If you bite down hard on a tooth with a filling, this can break or crack the filling, causing it to fall out. Over time, your fillings can wear away, forming small cracks around the edges which can get bigger if they’re not repaired. Saliva can also make your fillings fall out, if saliva is between your tooth cavity and your new filling as it’s placed, it may not stick to your tooth properly and can fall out.
How will this kit repair my filling temporarily?
The Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit uses temporary dental cement which can be easily moulded at home so it can be used to repair a broken filling or loose crown or cap. The mouthwash included helps to make sure that the area beneath your temporary repair is clean, discouraging tooth decay until you can get to see a dentist for a proper repair.
How to use Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit
To use the Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit to replace a filling, you will first need to dissolve the Toofypegs mouthwash tablets in a glass of warm water. Brush your teeth and then use the mouthwash solution to rinse and spit out. Cut a ½ cm length from the filling stick and place in a cup with enough boiling water to cover it. It will soften enough to be used in around 30 seconds. Roll the softened filling between your finger and thumb, apply to the cavity and then bite down firmly for a few seconds. Then hold the filling material in place with your finger or thumb until it has hardened. For more information about how to use the Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit to repair a crown or cap, please read the patient information leaflet.
When should Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit not be used?
Do not use Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. This product is for emergency use only and you should see your dentist as soon as possible. If you are experiencing any throbbing pain or swelling in infected areas, do not use Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit.

Is toofypegs white in colour? Will it be noticeable if I use it on my front teeth?
Toofypegs is a similar colour to the cement used by dentists, which is slightly off white. Hope this helps.
Can you use this product on children?
This product is only for emergency use. It also depends on the problem and age of child. Most children lose their baby teeth in this order: Baby teeth ordinarily are shed first at about age 6 when the incisors, the middle teeth in front, become loose. Molars, in the back, are usually shed between ages 10 and 12, and are replaced with permanent teeth by about age 13.
Does this product contain salycilates? Also how long does the repair last as my dentist is closed except for pain and swelling which I don’t have. I need this product to replace a filling. Many thanks
Toofypegs contains the following ingredients:
Powder cement contains the active ingredient: Zinc polycarboxylate.

How easy is Toofypegs Emergency Temporary Repair to remove myself, if necessary?
It is not advised to attempt to remove the temporary filling yourself. The dental cement can be removed by your dentist using a water jet
