What is Numark Chesty Cough?

This is a form of treatment that works to provide relief for a chesty cough that brings up mucus and phlegm. This medicine contains these three ingredients that help to provide relief:

  • Glycerin
  • Lemon
  • Ipecacuanha

Glycerin acts as a lubricant that helps to relieve a sore throat. Lemon is an ingredient that helps to reduce the effects of a cough. Ipecacuanha works as an expectorant which helps to remove the mucus from the chest, throat, and nose.

What causes a chesty cough?

A chesty cough is caused by mucus build-up in the airways, which is the result of an infection, such as a cold or the flu. The mucus causes a cough as a cough is the body’s way of trying to remove the mucus.
