BronchoStop Dual Action Cough Relief is a natural herbal treatment that works to relieve the effects of a cough. These pastilles can work with a dry, tickly, chesty, or a mucus cough and can also relieve catarrh, which is when mucus builds up in the body. The active ingredient is thyme herbal extract, which works to reduce the effects of a cough.

 

What is thyme herbal extract?

Thyme herbal extract comes from the thyme leaves. It can be used in cooking as well as in medical treatments. When used in medicine, it is often combined with other ingredients, one such example is thymol. Thymol is an antiseptic that is found in various types of mouthwash.

 

Who are these pastilles suitable for?

These BronchoStop pastilles are suitable to be used by adults and children aged 12 and over. Anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients contained in the pastilles should not use them. Can these pastilles be used by someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding?

Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding should not use these pastilles and instead, speak to a medical professional for advice on what treatment to use.

 

How should BronchoStop Dual Action Cough Relief be used?

One or two pastilles should be taken every four hours, up to four times a day. If they are needed, then you can use up to 12 pastilles a day. To use these pastilles, place in the mouth and suck on them until dissolved.

 

Are there any side effects?

A side effect is most likely to be caused by an allergic reaction. These side effects include a rash or itchy skin. If you notice a side effect, then stop using these pastilles and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist as soon as possible. You can also record any side effect that you discover using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: 1 – 2 pastilles to be taken every 4 hours, 4 times a day.

If required, up to a maximum of 12 pastilles can be taken per day.
1 pastille contains the active ingredient: 59.5 mg of extract (as dry extract) from Thyme herb (Thymus vulgaris L. and Thymus zygis L. herb)(DER 7-13:1) extraction solvent: water.

Also contains: Fructose and sorbitol (E420).
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not store above 25°C. Store the blister in the original package in order to protect from light.
