Buttercup Cough Syrup contains the active ingredients squill extract and capsicum tincture, which are traditionally used to treat coughs, colds, and sore throats. Squill helps to loosen up any phlegm, making it easier to cough up. The Buttercup Cough Syrup coats the back of the throat, cooling and soothing the area.


How to take Buttercup Cough Syrup.

Take 2 x 5ml spoonfuls of Buttercup Cough Syrup three times a day and at bedtime. Shake bottle before using Buttercup Cough Syrup. Do not take this product for more than one week.


When should Buttercup Cough Syrup not be used?

Buttercup Cough Syrup is not suitable for those under the age of 12. Do not use Buttercup Cough Syrup if you are pregnant, may become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Buttercup Cough Syrup is not suitable for those who are taking medications which are known the interact with alcohol. This product contains alcohol, which should be considered if you are:

  • Pregnant or breast feeding.
  • Suffering from alcoholism.
  • Have liver disease.
  • Have epilepsy.

The alcohol in this product could impair your ability to drive or operate tools and machinery. Do not attempt to drive or use machinery until you are sure you are not affected by this product.
