Benylin Chesty Coughs is a cough medicine which helps to loosen mucus, making it easier to cough up. If you’re struggling with an annoying chesty cough, Benylin Chesty Coughs can provide relief and help you to breathe easy again so you can get on with your normal routine.
A chesty cough is what we call a cough that happens when your body produces mucus, or phlegm, in order to help to clear unwanted particles, such as dust or bacteria, your airways. Your body wants to move the excess phlegm away from your chest, which is what causes a chesty cough.
Benylin Chesty Coughs medicine contains the active ingredient diphenhydramine, which works as an antihistamine. This means that it helps to relieve coughing and secretions in your nose and chest which cause coughing. This product also contains levomenthol, which helps to clear congestion so you can breathe more easily.
To treat a chesty cough, simply take two 5ml spoonfuls of Benylin Chesty Coughs medicine, four times a day. Do not take more than 4 doses of this medicine in any 24-hour period.
You do not need a prescription for Benylin Chesty Coughs, however you will be asked to complete a short medical questionnaire by your Chemist-4-U pharmacist before we can take your order.
