The gel provides an antiseptic, pain relieving, the long-lasting protective coating around the ulcer. This protective barrier sticks over the ulcer, protecting it from further irritation and damage in order to speed up the healing process.

Who is Iglu Gel suitable for?

Iglu Gel is suitable for adults and children aged 7 and over. It is not suitable for anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the gel. These are:

  • Lidocaine hydrochloride
  • Aminoacridine hydrochloride
  • Carbomer
  • Hydroxypropylcellulose
  • White soft paraffin
  • Liquid paraffin
  • Peppermint oil

Can this Iglu gel be used by someone who is either pregnant or breastfeeding?

Caution should be taken if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, so speak to the doctor before using.

Can the gel be used with other types of medication?

There is no evidence of problems when using Iglu Gel in conjunction with other types of medication.

Are there any side effects?

A side effect will most likely be as a result of an allergic reaction. If you do notice an allergic reaction, contact a doctor as soon as possible.
