What is Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze?

Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze provides fast, effective and safe removal of warts and verrucas by using freezing technology. One application of this product can cause a wart or verruca to disappear completely within 10 to 14 days, revealing healthy new skin underneath.

How to use Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze

To use Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze for the first time, firmly rotate the white part of the pen one full turn in the direction of the arrow until you hear a click. Place the pen on a flat solid surface, like a table or kitchen worktop, with the transparent cap facing downwards. To activate the pen before use, hold the transparent cap with one hand and firmly push the white part of the pen down for exactly 7 seconds. To use the pen once a white ice tablet has formed, remove the transparent cap and press the ice tablet firmly against the wart or verruca.

For thin skin, like hands, fingers, arms, toes or the top/sides of the feet, keep the ice tablet pressed down for 15 seconds. For thick skin, like the soles of the feet, keep the ice tablet pressed down for 40 seconds. Make sure to time yourself carefully - keeping the ice tablet on the wart or verruca can result in skin or nerve damage.

If the wart or verruca is bigger than 7.5mm, see your doctor before using this product. For multiple warts or verrucas in clusters that are close together, wait 14 days between treating each of them to avoid excessive skin damage.

If the wart or verruca doesn’t disappear within 14 days, you can safely use Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze for a 2nd or 3rd time as long as you leave an interval of 14 days in between each treatment.

How does cryotherapy treat warts & verrucas?

Cryotherapy refers to the use of extreme cold in surgery or other medical treatments. A doctor will use cryotherapy to remove a wart or verruca, using an extremely cold substance like liquid nitrogen to cause them to freeze off. Whilst only a doctor should perform cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen, this same method for deep freezing warts and verrucas is available in safe at-home treatments like Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze.

What are warts & verrucas?

Warts and verrucas are small growths on the skin caused by human papillomavirus (HPV). Whilst they can cause some pain, itchiness and even embarrassment,  they’re very common and nothing to worry about. The only difference between a wart and a verruca is the location: verrucas are warts on the soles of the feet. They can go away on their own, but this may take months or even years, so it’s a good idea to treat a wart or verruca with a product like Wartner Wart & Verruca Cyro Freeze if it’s bothering you.
