What is Bazuka Treatment Gel?

Bazuka Gel is a treatment for verrucas and warts that can also be used to tackle corns and calluses. If you’re suffering from an irritating wart or verruca and want it gone fast, Bazuka Gel could be right for you.

What are warts and verrucas?

Warts and verrucas are small lumps of skin that almost everyone will experience in their lifetime. They are caused by a virus, which can be spread through skin to skin contact or through contaminated surfaces. Warts and verrucas can go away by themselves, but this can take years, leaving some sufferers looking for a quicker solution.

How does this Bazuka Gel treat warts and verrucas?

Bazuka Gel contains the active ingredients of salicylic acid and lactic acid, which help to soften the hard skin that grows with warts, verrucas, corns, and calluses. This makes it easier to remove them with a pumice stone or emery board. It also kills the virus that causes verrucas and warts, ensuring they won’t grow back.

What is the difference between Bazuka Treatment Gel and Bazuka Gel?

This Bazuka Treatment Gel does not require approval from a pharmacist to purchase, unlike Bazuka Gel. This treatment gel also comes in a 6g tube, as opposed to a 5g tube for the Bazuka Gel.

How to use Bazuka Treatment Gel.

Use Bazuka Gel once every day, usually in the evening. Soak the affected area in warm water for 2 3 minutes, then dry the area thoroughly making sure to use your towel if you are treating a wart or verruca. Remove the red cap from the tube and carefully apply a thin coating of Bazuka Gel to top of the verruca, wart, corn or callus, avoiding getting the gel into contact with healthy skin. Allow the gel to dry for a few minutes until it forms a small white patch.

When should this Bazuka Gel not be used?

Bazuka Gel should not be used by children under the age of 2. Children under the age of 12 who are using Bazuka Gel should always be supervised by an adult. Do not use Bazuka Gel if you are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid, or any of the other ingredients listed. Do not use Bazuka Gel if you are diabetic or suffer from poor blood circulation in your hands or feet. Do not use Bazuka Gel on:

  • Your face
  • Your armpits
  • Your breasts
  • Your bottom or genital area
  • Birthmarks
  • Moles
  • Warts with hairs growing from them
  • Facial Warts
  • Any other spots

Are there any side effects?

When using the gel, you may feel a tingling sensation. and if you get it on non-affected areas of the skin, it might become irritated. There may be a more serious side effect, which if you notice, you should go to a doctor immediately. Another thing that you can do is make a record of the side effect using the MHRA's Yellow Card scheme.
