What is Carnation Cyrospray Verruca and Wart Remover?

Carnation Cyrospray is a fast and effective verruca and wart removal treatment. It is an easy to use product that can remove unsightly verrucas and warts without the need for messy gels and creams or annoying plasters, so you can have beautiful summer-ready feet quickly and conveniently. The Cyrospray works by freezing a verruca or wart which can be a quicker removal method than some other verruca and wart removal treatments.

What are verrucas and warts?

Verrucas and warts are small lumps that form on the skin and are a very common skin complaint that most people will experience at some point in their lives. Both warts and verrucas are usually harmless but can be unsightly or cause slight discomfort.

Verrucas

Verrucas (also known as plantar warts) are small warts that occur on the soles of the feet. They are caused by a contagious infection known as human papilloma virus (HPV) which causes the skin to over-grow and thicken creating a growth. Verrucas often grow on the weightbearing areas of the foot and can vary in size, from a few millimetres to more than a centimetre. They have a rough appearance with small black dots in the centre and can cause some discomfort when weight is placed upon them.

Warts

Warts are small lumps of tougher skin that often develop on the hands and feet. They can vary in appearance and may appear individually or in clusters. They are non-cancerous, but can resemble certain types of cancers so it can be important to get them checked by a doctor if you are unsure. Warts tend to affect children and teenagers more than adults. Common warts are firm to touch and usually are round or oval shaped. The surface is usually rough and irregular - similar to the texture of a cauliflower and they tend to develop on the knuckles, fingers and knees.

What causes verrucas and warts?

Both verrucas and warts are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) which is contagious and spreads from contaminated surfaces or through close skin contact. It’s common to catch them in places such as communal showers, changing rooms and floors around swimming pools.

You can prevent catching warts and verrucas by:

  • Washing your hands after touching a wart or verruca

  • Change your socks daily if you have a verruca

  • Cover warts and verrucas with a plaster when swimming

  • Take care not to cut a wart when shaving

  • Avoid sharing towels, flannels, socks or shoes if you have a wart or verruca

  • Do not bite your nails or touch your mouth if your fingers have warts

  • Do not walk barefoot in public places if you have a verruca

  • Avoid scratching or picking a wart

How does Carnation Cyrospray work?

Carnation Cyrospray works by rapidly freezing the verruca or wart. This form of treatment is known as cryotherapy. It is a very common removal method for verrucas and warts. After the verruca or wart has been treated with the Cyrospray it can disappear or fall off to leave you with clear skin. Just one application of Carnation Cyrospray can be sufficient to cause the verruca and wart to disappear or fall off the skin within 10-14 days. Persistent verrucas or warts may require 2 or 3 applications. Each spray bottle contains 12 applications.

How to use Carnation Verruca and Wart Remover

Removing verrucas and warts using the Carnation Cryospray is so simple and convenient. Ensure you are using the product in a ventilated area. Attach the applicator firmly to the spray nozzle on the can. Remove the protective cap and press down the dispensing button for 3 seconds. Place the tip of the applicator lightly on the surface of the verruca or wart for a maximum of 30 seconds.

Do NOT spray directly onto the skin - always ensure you use the applicator.
