What is Dentogen Toothache Gel?

Dentogen Toothache Gel is a toothache treatment gel that uses clove oil to ease pain caused by tooth decay. Ideal for those suffering with toothache and looking for a way to relieve pain until they can get to see their dentist. Dentogen Toothache Gel is sugar free and fast acting.

What causes toothache?

Toothache can be some of the worst pain you can ever experience, causing not just pain in your tooth, but in your gums, jaw, and cheek, and even causing headaches. Some of the most common causes of toothache include:

  • Tooth decay
  • Dental abscess
  • Cracked teeth
  • Damaged teeth
  • Loose or broken fillings
  • Infections
  • Ill-fitting braces

How will this product ease my toothache?

Dentogen Toothache Gel contains the active ingredient clove oil, which is a popular treatment for toothache. It works as a mild analgesic and surface anaesthetic, which means it helps to ease pain caused by toothache, working directly in the affected area.

How to use Dentogen Toothache Gel

Apply a little Dentogen Toothache Gel to the sore or decayed tooth, using a clean fingertip or cotton wool bud. Be careful not to apply gel to the surrounding teeth, gums, or skin. Repeat application after 20 minutes and then again, every 2 hours, if necessary.

When should Dentogen Toothache Gel not be used?

Dentogen Toothache Gel is not suitable for use on children under the age of 2. Do not use this product if you are allergic to clove oil, eugenol, peru balsam, or any of the other listed ingredients. This product should not be used to ease teething pain in children or infants. Do not use this product if you have an abscess. Dentogen Toothache Gel should not be used if you are taking medicines to prevent blood clotting, such as warfarin. For more information, please read the patient information leaflet.
