What is Colgate Plax Mouthwash?
Colgate Plax Mouthwash is a soft mint flavoured mouthwash that helps to keep your breath fresh for up to 10x longer than brushing alone. It helps to keep your teeth and gums clean all day long, killing the bacteria that lurk between your teeth and along your gum line. Colgate Plax Mouthwash is available in 250ml and 60ml bottles.
What is plaque?
Plaque is the colourless, sticky substance that builds up on your teeth as you go about your day. If left alone to build up without cleaning, plaque acids can damage your tooth enamel, leading to tooth decay. This can leave you with symptoms including:
- Toothache
- Sensitive teeth
- Bad breath
- Tooth discolouration
- A bad taste in the mouth

When used twice a day, Colgate Plax Mouthwash can offer you 24-hour protection from harmful dental plaque. It kills 99% of germs that live in your mouth, so you can feel confident that your teeth are clean, all day, every day.
How to use Colgate Plax Mouthwash
Fill the cap with 20ml of Colgate Plax Mouthwash and use to rinse your mouth thoroughly for around 30 seconds. Spit the mouthwash out and do not swallow. For best results, do this twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
When should Colgate Plax Mouthwash not be used?
Colgate Plax Mouthwash is not suitable for children under the age of 6. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. If you experience any irritation while using this product, stop use immediately and speak to your doctor, dentist, or Chemist 4 U pharmacist if necessary.
