What is Pregnacare Max?
Pregnacare Max is a specially designed formula that can help to support you during your pregnancy. They contain Pregnacare tablets and Omega-3 capsules, which work together to offer nutritional support when you need it most. This product contains no artificial colours or preservatives, is free from yeast and lactose, and is not tested on animals.
Which vitamins and minerals are in this product?
Pregnacare Max tablets contain a range of vitamins and minerals designed to support you during pregnancy. These include:
- Vitamin D – 10µg
- Vitamin E – 4mg α-TE
- Vitamin K – 70µg
- Vitamin C – 80mg
- Thiamin (Vit B1) – 5mg
- Riboflavin (Vit B2) – 2mg
- Niacin (Vit B3) – 20mg NE
- Vitamin B6 – 10mg
- Folic Acid – 400µg

- Calcium – 500mg

How will this product help to support me throughout my pregnancy?
Pregnacare Max tablets contain 400µg of Folic Acid, which is the amount that the NHS recommends that all pregnant mothers take during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. They also contain Vitamin D and calcium, which help to support healthy bone development. The Omega-3 capsules included contain DHA, an essential fatty acid which can help to support normal eye and brain development.
Can I take this product if I’m breastfeeding?
You should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking any medication or supplement if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and that includes Pregnacare Max. If you are breastfeeding, your doctor or pharmacist may recommend a supplement that is more suitable for you and your baby.
Can I take this product if I’m taking other medication?
Pregnacare Max can usually be taken at the same time as other medication without problems. However, this product does contain Vitamin K, and should not be taken at the same time as blood thinning medication (anticoagulants) such as warfarin unless specifically advised by a doctor. Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are taking any other medication, including those bought without a prescription.
How to take Pregnacare Max tablets and capsules
Take 2 Pregnacare Max tablets and one Omega-3 capsule every day. For best results, take with your main meal and swallow with a sip of water or another cool drink. Take on a full stomach and do not take more than the recommended daily dose.
When should Pregnacare Max not be used?
Do not use Pregnacare Max if you are allergic to soya, fish, or any of the other listed ingredients. Food supplements should not be used in place of a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any other medication, or have an underlying medical condition.
Does this product have any side effects?
Pregnacare Max does not have any known side effects if you take this product as recommended by the manufacturer. However, if you do experience any side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist right away.
How to store these tablets?
Store in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees C. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store in original packaging and do not use after expiration date printed on packaging has passed.
