What is Ella One Emergency Contraception?

Ella One is a morning-after pill that can prevent a pregnancy after unprotected sex, or if your contraceptive method has failed. Ella One is effective when it matters most because it can prevent a pregnancy even when you are about to ovulate, which is when your risk of getting pregnant is greatest.

This product works by delaying egg release, so by the time an egg is released, the sperm inside you are no longer capable of making you pregnant.

Active Ingredients: Each tablet of Ella One contains 30mg of ulipristal acetate.

How should Ella One Emergency Contraception be used?

Always use this medicine exactly as described by your pharmacist or doctor. Take one tablet by mouth as soon as possible and no later than 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. Take the tablet without delay

You can take Ella One at any time in your cycle and at any time of the day either before, during or after a meal. If you are using one of the medicines that may prevent Ella One from working properly, or if you have used one of these medicines in the past 4 weeks, this product may work less effectively for you. Speak to your doctor before using Ella One.

When should Ella One Emergency Contraception be used?

You should use Ella One as soon as possible, and no later than 5 days for this tablet to take effect. This product contains ulipristal acetate which acts by modifying the activity of the natural hormone progesterone which is necessary for ovulation to occur, this product will postpone this from happening, but needs to be taken straight away to have this effect.

When should Ella One Emergency Contraception not be used?

Do not take Ella One if you are allergic to ulipristal acetate or any of the other ingredients in the medicine, it is recommended that you do not use this product when driving or using machines, as some women experience dizziness, drowsiness and blurred vision.

Do I need a prescription to order Ella One Emergency Contraception?

No, a prescription is not required when ordering Ella One products. While other medicines containing ulipristal acetate may require a prescription, controlled use of Ella One does not and can be bought over the counter

Will Ella One work if I am already pregnant?

If your menstrual period is late, there is a possibility that you may be pregnant. When your period is late or when you have symptoms of pregnancy (heavy breasts, morning sickness) you should consult a doctor or other healthcare professional before taking Ella One.

If you have unprotected sex after taking Ella One, it will NOT stop you from becoming pregnant. Unprotected sex at any time during your cycle can lead to pregnancy. If you do not have a regular method of contraception, talk to your doctor or health care professional to choose one that is suitable for you.

Are there any side effects?

When taking Ella One, there is a chance of side effects. These include a number of different side effects, some of which are more common than others. Some potential side effects include:

  • Nausea
  • Stomach pain
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness
  • Muscle pain
  • Tiredness
  • Hot flushes
  • A migraine
  • Itching
  • A Fever
  • Red eyes
  • Sensitivity to light
If you notice any side effect, including ones not listed above, speak to a doctor as soon as possible. You can also report a side effect using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme. For more information about recording side effects to medication, please see the MHRA’s Yellow Card website.

Warnings:

Talk to your pharmacist, doctor or another healthcare professional before taking Ella One. If your period is late or you have symptoms of pregnancy, as you may already be pregnant, also if you suffer from severe asthma or suffer from a severe liver disease.

In all women, emergency contraception should be taken as soon as possible, after unprotected intercourse. There is some evidence that Ella One may be less effective with increasing body weight or body mass index (BMI). However, this data is limited and inconclusive, and therefore, Ella One is still recommended for all women regardless of their weight or BMI.

Always read the information leaflet before use.

We have historically sold the morning after pill at this price. Due to raw ingredients cost rises, we are currently selling this item https://www.chemist-4-u.com/ezinelle-emergency-contraception here
