I am suffering with extremely poor hair, dry, brittle and thinning, and dry brittle nails as well - should I be taking extra supplements with Menopace - which I have just started - or should this be sufficient on its own to help improve my hair? Secondly, I had a blood test and was deficient in iron about 6 months ago. Is it safe to continue taking extra iron alongside Menopace or should the dosage in Menopace be sufficient? Thirdly, I was taking the following supplements before starting Menopace and wanted to check if it was still safe to take these - evening primrose oil and cod liver oil - should I stop taking these now that I have started Menopace?

Menopace is a one-a-day supplement specially formulated for during and after the menopause, with vitamin B6, which contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity and can be continued after the menopause for as long as required. There is no maximum length of time over which Menopace can be used. Menopace is also recommended for those women who have an early menopause.

Menopace is a food supplement which does not contain any hormones, and can be taken with or without Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). Menopace is suitable for use by women who have had partial or a full hysterectomy.

Generally, Menopace may be used along-side medications such as HRT because it contains only moderate levels of vitamins and minerals, and it is free of any drugs or hormones. The iron content is 43% of your RDA, so continue taking your iron supplements as prescribed.

You can also continue taking your fish oils, as this product doesn't contain them.
