What is Vicks Vapo Spray?

Vicks Vapo Spray is a gentle decongestant spray that can help to clear a blocked nose. It uses a saline solution to clear out built-up mucus within your nose so you can breathe more easily. Vicks Vapo Spray is free from preservatives and aromatics, ideal for sensitive noses.

Why do I have a blocked nose?

There are lots of reasons why you may have a blocked nose, and it usually isn’t serious. Some of the most common causes of a blocked nose include a cold, flu, and hay fever, which can all irritate the inside of your nasal passages. This irritation makes the inside of your nose inflamed and swollen, blocking your nose with excess mucus.

How will Vicks Vapo Spray help to clear my blocked nose?

Vicks Vapo Spray is made up of seawater saline solution. Saline sprays are a popular and gentle way to clear a build-up of mucus from your nose when you’re suffering from congestion. The solution helps to hydrate the inside of your nose, clearing away dried mucous and other irritants, which can help to reduce inflammation and other irritating symptoms.

Can I use this saline spray if I’m using any other medication?

Vicks Vapo Spray is not known to interact with any other medications, including other decongestants and cold medicines. However, if you are taking any other medication you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this product to make sure that there will be no problems using the two together.

Can I use this nasal spray if I’m pregnant?

Vicks Vapo Spray can be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before doing so to make sure that this is the best and safest possible treatment for you and your baby.
