What is Beconase Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray?

Beconase Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray is a fast solution to reduce hay fever symptoms. It contains Beclometasone Dipropionate, which is effective against the common symptoms of hay fever, including:

  • Itching
  • Sneezing
  • Blocked nose
  • A runny nose

The active ingredient in Beconase Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray is Beclometasone Dipropionate. Other ingredients include:

  • Microcrystalline cellulose
  • Sodium carboxymethylcellulose
  • Dextrose
  • Polysorbate 80
  • Purified water
  • The preservatives benzalkonium chloride and phenylethylalcohol

Who is it suitable for?

This nasal spray is only suitable for adults aged 18 and over. If you want a nasal spray solution for children then consult your doctor or pharmacist.

How should Beconase Hayfever Nasal Spray be used?

You should only use Beconase Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray by spraying up your nose. You should never spray into your mouth. When using the nasal spray for the first time, you must prepare it for use. This is done by holding the spray between the middle and forefinger, with the bottom resting on your thumb. Then, press down on the applicator six times and then it should be ready to be used.

Are there any side effects?

There are a number of potential side effects when using Beclometasone which includes:

  • Blurred vision
  • Nosebleeds
  • Skin rash
  • Damage to the nose
  • Dry or painful mouth
  • Dry or a sore throat

Can Beconase Hayfever Relief Nasal Spray be used if pregnant or breastfeeding?

Shake gently before use.
