Buy Ryaltris Nasal Spray

Ryaltris Nasal Spray contains two active ingredients, mometasone furoate, which belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids, and olopatadine, an antihistamine.

Mometasone furoate helps to reduce inflammation, which is a common symptom during an allergic reaction. Olopatadine blocks the chemical histamine, a substance that the body produces as part of an allergic reaction.

When combined, it can help to relieve swelling and irritation of the nose, sneezing, itching and a blocked or runny nose. Ryaltris Nasal Spray is used to treat the symptoms of hay fever (an allergy to pollen) and perennial rhinitis (sensitivity to a variety of things, including animal dander, dust and certain foods).

Directions

Always use Ryaltris Nasal Spray exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Contact with the eyes should be avoided. The recommended dose is 2 sprays into each nostril in the morning and evening.

It’s important to prepare your bottle before use. Do to this, start by shaking the bottle for a minimum of 10 seconds and then remove the protective cap. If you’re using the spray for the first time, you need to ‘prime’ the bottle by pumping into the air. Put your forefinger and middle finger on either side of the nozzle and your thumb underneath the bottle.

Point the nozzle away from you and then press down and release the pump 6 times until a fine mist appears. Now your pump is primed and ready to use. If you have not used the spray for 14 days or more, you need to ‘reprime’ the bottle by pumping the spray 2 times until a fine mist is produced.

For directions on how to use Ryaltris Nasal Spray after priming, start by shaking the bottle for a minimum of 10 seconds before each use (morning and evening), then gently blow your nose to clear your nostrils.

Close one nostril with your finger and carefully insert the spray tip into the other nostril, pointing it slightly toward the outside of the nose. Tilt your head forward slightly, rapidly press down once and sniff gently at the same time. Breathe out through your mouth.

Repeat the above steps and deliver a second spray in the same nostril. Repeat with 2 sprays in the other nostril. After using the spray, wipe the nozzle carefully with a clean handkerchief or tissue. Replace the cap to avoid the nozzle becoming blocked, confirmed when you hear a ‘click’.

If the nozzle does become blocked, please refer to the patient information leaflet for more information on how to clean your nasal spray nozzle.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Ryaltris Nasal Spray may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include: a bitter taste in the mouth, nosebleed, and slight irritation on the inside of the nose.

For more information on potential side effects, refer to the patient information leaflet. If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.

Systemic side effects (side effects concerning the whole body) may occur when this product is used at high doses for a long time. These effects are much less likely to occur if you’re using a steroid nasal spray than if you take steroids by mouth.

These effects may vary in individual patients. Nasal steroids can affect the normal production of hormones in the body, particularly if you use high doses for a long time. In children and adolescents, this side effect can cause them to grow more slowly than others.
