What is Murine Refresh & Soothe Eye Mist?
This eye mist is a treatment for dry, irritated eyes that restores lost moisture. This treatment contains the active ingredient sodium hyaluronate, which hydrates the eyes which have become dry and irritated.
What causes dry eyes?
Dry eyes are caused by a number of conditions that can lead to redness, soreness, irritation, and a gritty feeling in the eyes. Conditions that can cause dry eyes to include:
- Computer and mobile phone use
- Contact lenses
- Dust
- Pollution
- Air conditioning
- Age
- Wind
- Medicines
Symptoms of dry eyes including itchiness and soreness. You may also experience blurred vision or sensitivity to light.
Who is this eye mist suitable for?
This eye mist is suitable to be used by adults and children. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients that are contained in the treatment. It can be used by anyone who wears contact lenses. If you are using any other form of medication, then speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using.
Can someone who is pregnant or breastfeeding use this treatment?
Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a medical professional before using this eye mist.
How should Murine Refresh & Soothe Eye Mist be used?
Before using for the first time, prime the pump by spraying a few times. To use, hold the bottle 10cm from the eye and then close the eyes and spray 1-2 times on each eye. Use up to 3-4 times a day.
Are there any side effects?
Any side effect will most likely be caused by an allergic reaction. If you notice a side effect, stop using and speak to a doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this eye mist. If you notice a side effect, you can record a side effect using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
