The lozenges contain menthol and eucalyptol flavour, strengthened to give a kick when it comes to soothing your throat and relieving you from your cough, cold and flu symptoms.

How Lockets Extra Strong Sore Throat Lozenges work 

The active ingredient, menthol, is a cough suppressant and an oral anaesthetic, numbing and relieving pain in the throat and mouth. They also have a soothing liquid centre.

The action of sucking the lozenge allows the ingredients to work in the area of discomfort. They also help to lubricate and soothe the painful area.

 

Directions

Always take Lockets Extra Strong Sore Throat Lozenges exactly as described.

Place the lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. 

You can take a lozenge every 2-3 hours. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours. 

 

Side effects

Like all products, Lockets Extra Strong Sore Throat Lozenges may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

 

Warnings

These lozenges may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not take these lozenges if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

These lozenges should not be used for long periods.

They are not recommended for children who have a history of convulsions.
