Buy Benzydamine 0.15% Oral Spray

Benzydamine 0.15% Oral Spray is an anti-inflammatory throat and mouth spray. It contains the active substance of benzydamine hydrochloride which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

The spray is ideal if you are suffering from pain, soreness or discomfort in the mouth or throat.

 

How Benzydamine 0.15% Oral Spray works

Benzydamine 0.15% oral spray works by stopping pain and reducing inflammation (swelling). It is used to treat many painful conditions of the mouth and throat including:

 

  • Mouth ulcers
  • Sore throat
  • Sore mouth or gums 
  • Dental pain

 

Directions

Always use Benzydamine 0.15% Oral Spray exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

 

Spray the product directly onto the affected area of the mouth or throat.

 

Adults

4-8 sprays every 1 ½ to 3 hours.

 

Children (6-12 years)

4 sprays every 1 ½ to 3 hours.

 

Children under 6

1 spray for each kg of body weight to a maximum of 4 sprays every 1 ½ hours to 3 hours.

 

Side effects

Like all medicines, Benzydamine 0.5% Oral Spray may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Common side effects include: 

 

  • Numbness and/or stinging in the mouth or throat
  • Difficulty breathing 
  • Skin rash 
  • Your skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight
  • Headaches 
  • Diarrhoea

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

 

Warnings

Benzydamine 0.15% Oral Spray may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

 

Talk to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have a history of asthma or you are allergic to aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.



Using/taking other medicines

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines including ones obtained without a prescription.



Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking any new medicine. 



Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste.
