Buy Covonia Throat Spray

Covonia Throat Spray is a treatment that helps to reduce the pain and irritation caused by a sore throat. This spray contains two active ingredients, chlorhexidine gluconate and lidocaine hydrochloride, which work together to kill bacteria and reduce throat pain caused by colds, flu, tonsillitis, laryngitis and more. This product is available in two flavours: menthol and lemon.

How does Covonia Throat Spray work?

The two active ingredients in Covonia Throat Spray are chlorhexidine gluconate - which works by killing germs and bacteria in the mouth and throat that cause pain and irritation - and lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic that numbs the area in which it is applied.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Adults and children over the age of 12 should take 3 to 5 sprays, 6 to 10 times per day.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Covonia Throat Spray can cause side effects, but these won't affect everybody. Potential side effects include skin sensitivity, burning sensation on the tongue and swelling in the mouth. If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Do not use Covonia Throat Spray if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, you are under the age of 12 years or if you have difficulty swallowing. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using this throat spray if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
