Buy Doublebase Once Emollient

Doublebase Once Emollient is an advanced, highly moisturising and protective emollient that can moisturise dry skin for up to 24 hours after just one application.

It’s ideal for treating dry skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and ichthyosis. This emollient can also be used for washing.

This product is suitable for infants, children, adults and the elderly.

How Doublebase Once Emollient works

Doublebase Once Emollient softens, moisturises, and protects the skin by trapping moisture and restoring its normal protective function.

It also contains macrogol stearyl ether, a soap substitute that prevents skin from drying out further.

Directions

Always use Doublebase Once Emollient exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.

Gently smooth Doublebase Once over and around all dry skin areas once daily or as often as needed. Use a few gentle strokes to smooth the gel across the skin in the same direction as hair growth. If necessary, allow time for any excess to soak in. Do not rub the skin vigorously.

When used as a soap substitute for washing, use it as you would ordinary soap to prevent further skin drying.

If you are applying another treatment to the same area of skin, try to avoid mixing the two products. This can be achieved by alternating treatments, leaving sufficient time for the previous application to soak in.

Side effects

Like all medicines, Doublebase Once Emollient may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. There are no known reported common side effects of this product.

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
