What are Tena Comfort pads?

Tena Comfort are sanitary pads which help you to manage incontinence. These discreet and comfortable pads are available in a range of absorbencies, so you can choose the perfect product to manage your incontinence at any time. Tena Comfort use ConfioAir fabric, which lets your skin breathe and keeps you comfortable and dry all day long.

What is urinary incontinence?

Urinary incontinence is a condition where you pass urine without meaning to, whether this be a few drops or larger scale leaks. It can be caused by many different things, including childbirth, illnesses, and growing older, and it’s a much more common condition than many people realise. There are different types of incontinence, including:

  • Stress incontinence – Which happens when your bladder is under pressure, such as during exercise or when you laugh, cough, or sneeze
  • Urge incontinence – Which happens when you feel a strong, sudden urge to pee, followed by unintentionally passing urine
  • Overflow incontinence – Which happens when you are unable to fully empty your bladder, causing overflow or leaks
  • Total incontinence – Which happens when your bladder is unable to store urine, causing leaks

How will these pads help me to manage my incontinence?

Tena Comfort pads use a highly absorbent core which gets to work fast, containing liquid and keeping you feeling dry and comfortable. The All-Round Barrier contains leaks from the moment they happen, and the Odour Neutraliser reduces the effect of the unpleasant smell of ammonia, preventing any potential embarrassment and helping you to feel fresh.

When would I use Tena Comfort pads?

These Maxi Tena Comfort pads have an absorbency rating of 7 out of 8, making them ideal for managing heavy leaks. These pads are also available in Normal, Plus, Extra, and Super absorbencies so you can choose which pad is the perfect product to manage your incontinence at any given time.

How to use these pads

Remove the backing paper from your Tena Comfort pads and press them firmly into the inside of your underwear with the sticky side facing down. As you wear the pad, keep an eye on the wetness indicator. When this indicator turns from yellow to blue, it’s time to change your pad. Simply peel it out of your underwear, throw it away into a sanitary bin or with household waste, and replace it with a fresh pad.
