How to use Vagisil Medicated Creme.
Apply the Vagisil Medicated Creme to the affected area, normally a 3-5cm strip of cream will be enough to cover the area. You can repeat this treatment three or four times every day for up to one week. If your symptoms have not improved after that time, speak to your doctor.
When should Vagisil Medicated Creme not be used?
Vagisil Medicated Creme is not for use by anyone under the age of 12. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use Vagisil Medicated Creme unless you have spoken to your doctor. Do not use Vagisil Medicated Creme on your eyes. Do not use Vagisil Medicated Creme if you are allergic to Lidocaine or any of the other ingredients listed.
Like all medicines, Vagisil Medicated Creme may have side effects, although you may not get them yourself. This includes skin sensitivity which may show itself as:
- Redness
- Swelling
- Blistering
- Itching
- Irritation in the area
If you experience this or any other side effects, stop using Vagisil Medicated Creme and speak to your doctor.
