Is Vagisil Medicated Creme right for me?

If you’re suffering from itching in your intimate area, Vagisil Medicated Creme can provide quick and effective relief for the irritation. Vagisil Medicated Crème cools and soothes the affected area, making you feel better right away. It’s not greasy and won’t stain your clothing, making Vagisil Medicated Creme the ideal solution for annoying intimate itching or irritation.

What causes intimate itching?

Intimate itching can be caused by all kinds of things, but some of the most common causes are perspiration or your period. You may also find that intimate itching develops because of the kind of clothes you wear or the laundry detergent you use. No matter what the cause, Vagisil Medicated Creme can help to provide the relief you need.

How does Vagisil Medicated Creme work?

Vagisil Medicated Creme is an emulsion cream, which means it is a lighter and thinner version of a moisturiser. It contains the active ingredient Lidocaine, which works underneath the skin to stop itching and irritation, removing the urge to scratch the itchy area.

How to use Vagisil Medicated Creme.

Apply the Vagisil Medicated Creme to the affected area, normally a 3-5cm strip of cream will be enough to cover the area. You can repeat this treatment three or four times every day for up to one week. If your symptoms have not improved after that time, speak to your doctor.

When should Vagisil Medicated Creme not be used?

Vagisil Medicated Creme is not for use by anyone under the age of 12. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use Vagisil Medicated Creme unless you have spoken to your doctor. Do not use Vagisil Medicated Creme on your eyes. Do not use Vagisil Medicated Creme if you are allergic to Lidocaine or any of the other ingredients listed.

Like all medicines, Vagisil Medicated Creme may have side effects, although you may not get them yourself. This includes skin sensitivity which may show itself as:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Blistering
  • Itching
  • Irritation in the area

If you experience this or any other side effects, stop using Vagisil Medicated Creme and speak to your doctor.
