Buy Polytar Scalp Treatment Shampoo

Polytar Scalp Treatment Shampoo is a medicated coal tar shampoo which treats scalp conditions such as psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, eczema, dandruff, scaling and itchiness.

How Polytar Scalp Treatment Shampoo works

Polytar Scalp Treatment Shampoo contains coal tar, a thick oil with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-itch properties.

The shampoo cleanses and soothes the scalp, slowing down the rate of skin cell growth while relieving itching and inflammation.

Directions

Always use Polytar Scalp Treatment Shampoo exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you.

Wet your hair thoroughly with warm water. Lather the shampoo onto your hair, ensuring it covers all your scalp and hair. Gently massage your scalp with your fingertips, taking care not to scratch your scalp. Rinse thoroughly until the shampoo is entirely out of your hair.

Apply a second treatment of Polytar Scalp Treatment Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.

Follow the instructions carefully as this product contains 4% coal tar. If used correctly, you won't have any issues, just don't use it like shampoo/conditioner & don't leave it on for more than 5 minutes

For someone with eczema like me who has occasional outbreaks on the scalp, this is the nicest of the coal tar shampoos available. Please keep making it!
