What is indigestion?
Indigestion is what happens when you experience pain or discomfort in your upper abdomen after eating or drinking. It happens to everyone every so often and usually clears up by itself, but there are ways you can help it to clear up. If you have indigestion, you can notice the following symptoms after you eat or drink:
- Wind (flatulence)
- Feeling sick
- Feeling full or bloated
- Bringing up food or fluid
How will this product help to ease my indigestion?
Eno salts contain the active ingredients sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, and anhydrous sodium. These three ingredients work together to regulate the pH level in your stomach, neutralising the stomach acid that irritates your sensitive stomach lining. This calms the stomach, easing irritation by helping your digestive system get back to normal.
Can I use Eno if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
You should speak to your doctor before using Eno Salts or any other medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This is to help you be sure that your medication is safe for both you and your baby.
How much should I use a day?
Add 5g which is the same as one 5ml teaspoonful of the Eno Salts to a glass of water. Let the powder dissolve and then drink it. Repeat every 2-3 hours as necessary but do not take more than six doses in a 24-hour period.
Do I need a prescription to buy?
No, you do not need a prescription to buy this product.
