What is Fybogel Mebeverine Orange Flavour?
Fybogel Mebeverine Orange Flavour is a natural fibre-based treatment for the relief of conditions such as abdominal pain and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It works by getting more contents of the gut to pass through and allow your body to work normally. The active ingredients are Ispaghula Husk and Mebeverine, which is an antispasmodic drug which helps stop stomach cramps and pains.
What is Irritable Bowel Syndrome?
Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a condition that affects the stomach and digestive system. As of today, there is no known cure for IBS and the only treatments available help to provide relief and control of the symptoms, not eradicate them. The exact cause of IBS is unknown, but it is believed that it may be caused by food passing through the gut too quickly, or too slowly. Other theories include links to stress, or it is a hereditary condition. The effects of IBS come and go, but can last for days, weeks, or even months at a time when present.
How does Fybogel Mebeverine help to relieve the effects of IBS?
Fybogel Mebeverine works in two ways to provide relief for anyone who suffers from the effects of IBS. This is thanks to the two active ingredients in the sachets, Ispaghula Husk and Mebeverine.
- Ispaghula husk is a natural ingredient that helps to restore moisture in stools by working as a bulk-forming agent. As well as this, Ispaghula Husk also helps to line the intestine which helps to restore movement in the digestive system. Both of these effects help to trigger stool movement in the bowel.
- Mebeverine is essentially a painkiller that works to ease the pain caused by IBS. It works by relaxing the muscles in and around the gut.
Who is Fybogel Mebeverine suitable for?
Fybogel Mebeverine is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over. It is not suitable for anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the sachets,
You should also not use if you:

- Have muscle weakness or decreased activity in the bowel

Can I use these sachets if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Don’t you just hate blockages? Whether it is in the nose and you struggle to breathe through it and smell, or whether it is a traffic jam caused by an accident that leaves you stuck on the road, they are a pain.
The same can be said about constipation, a simple blockage in the digestive system that can cause a lot of problems. To find the solution to constipation, first, you need to know the cause.
