Dermalo Bath Emollient is a treatment designed to provide relief to dry skin.

It can treat dry skin conditions that may also be red, itchy and sore, such as eczema and dermatitis.

 

How Dermalo Bath Emollient works

Dermalo Bath Emollient contains liquid paraffin and acetylated wood alcohols.

The active ingredients work together to soften, moisturise, and protect your skin by trapping moisture and restoring its normal protective function. 

 

Directions

Always use Dermalo Bath Emollient exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. 

Adults:

Add 15-20ml of the product to the bath water. Soak for 10-20 minutes. Pat the skin dry with a towel; do not rub.

Babies and children:

Add 5-10ml of the product to the bath water. Soak for 10-20 minutes. Pat the skin dry with a towel; do not rub.

 

Side effects

Dermalo Bath Emollient may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. There are no known reported side effects of this product.

If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.

 

Serious side effects

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. 

 

Warnings

Dermalo Bath Emollient may be unsuitable for certain people. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Keep this product away from open flames and other ignition sources.

Dermalo Bath Emollient can make surfaces slippery, so take extra care when getting in and out of the bath.

 

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

This product can be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before using any new product. 

 

Storage information

Store in a cool, dry place out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date, referring to the last day of the month stated on the packaging.
