Floradix Vitamin-B-Complex is a food supplement containing vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, niacin and biotin. These essential vitamins can reduce tiredness and fatigue whilst contributing to the normal function of the nervous system. Vitamin B1, in particular, contributes to the normal function of the heart, whilst vitamins B6 and B12 are vital for red blood cell formation. Biotin and niacin contribute to normal skin and psychological functions.

What is the recommended dosage?

Floradix Vitamin-B-Complex is suitable for adults and children over the age of 3 years old. The recommended dosage for each age group is as follows:

  • Adults and children over 12 years old: 20ml once a day

  • Children aged 7-12 years: 10ml once a day

  • Children aged 3-6 years: 5ml once a day

What is vitamin-B-complex?

Vitamin-B-complex is a group of several different B vitamins, all of which help the body convert food into energy. The vitamins include:

  • Vitamin B1 (thiamin) - vital to the healthy function of the organs

  • Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) - works to break down fats and drugs

  • Vitamin B3 (niacin) - contributes to healthy skin, nerves and digestion

  • Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) - essential for the health of the brain and nervous system

  • Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) - helps the body make new red blood cells

  • Vitamin B7 (biotin) - essential for nerve function and healthy skin, hair and nails

  • Vitamin B9 (folic acid) - helps the body make red blood cells, DNA and genetic material, as well as reducing the risk of birth defects during pregnancy

  • Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) - keeps the body’s nerve and blood cells healthy

Vitamin-B-complex supplements can be particularly beneficial for vegetarians and vegans, older people and people with health conditions like autoimmune diseases, diabetes, kidney disease, depression and heart disease.
