When you have diabetes mellitus, your uncontrolled blood sugar levels can cause nerve damage in your feet. This means that the nerves which control oil and moisture in your feet no longer work, leaving you vulnerable to dry skin and cracked heels.
How does Allpresan diabetic foot care foam help to treat dry skin?
Allpresan diabetic foot care foam has three active ingredients which help to treat dry foot skin and cracked heels. These are:
- Urea
- Pentavitin
- Panthenol
These ingredients work together to moisturise the skin, making your skin feel softer and suppler, preventing cracking. They also help to regenerate your skin’s natural protective barrier, preventing dry skin from coming back.
How to use Allpresan diabetic foot care foam.
Before using Allpresan diabetic foot care foam, shake the container well and make sure it remains upright during use. Apply a hazelnut or walnut-sized amount of Allpresan diabetic foot care foam to your foot in the mornings and the evenings. Allpresan diabetic foot care foam will dry quickly, without leaving a greasy film behind. You can wear your socks or stocking immediately after using Allpresan diabetic foot care foam.
When should Allpresan diabetic foot care foam not be used?
Allpresan diabetic foot care foam should not be used by children under the age of 5. Allpresan diabetic foot care foam is for external use only, do not use in the area around the eyes, the mucous membranes, or in open wounds. If you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients, do not use Allpresan diabetic foot care foam.
Like all medications, Allpresan diabetic foot care foam can have side effects, but you may not get them yourself. This can include temporary skin irritation, including:
- Itching
- Burning
- Redness
