Allpresan Diabetic Foam Cream Intense is part of the Allpresan foot care range for dry and sensitive skin caused by diabetes. This intense version contains double the percentage of Urea (a highly hydrating ingredient) in comparison with Allpresan Diabetic Basic Foam Cream, for skin that needs that extra dose of moisture. Allpresan Diabetic Foam Cream Intense also provides a protective barrier that prevents skin infections.

Uncontrolled blood sugar levels can cause a loss of fluid in people with diabetes. This loss of fluid can cause skin, particularly on the feet, to become sensitive and dry.
Why is it important to treat dry and sensitive skin?
When dehydrated skin becomes severely dry it can crack and become prone to infection. Even minor skin issues can progress into serious diabetic complications such as diabetic foot ulcers and can even lead to amputation if proper care isn’t taken.
How does Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Intense treat dry foot skin in people with diabetes?
Allpresan Diabetic Foam Cream Intense forms a breathable coating that protects from infection and strengthens the skin barrier against germs. It is absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave a slippery, greasy film.
The secret to the intensely moisturising formula is the three active ingredients:
Urea

Pentavin®

Panthenol
- Soothes and conditions dry and chapped skin.
- Promotes cell growth and regeneration of the skin barrier.
How to use Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Cream.
Shake well before each use and hold the container upright when applying. Apply mornings and evenings using an amount the size of a walnut to the affected areas of the feet. Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Cream can also be used between the toes. As the Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Cream is absorbed quickly there risk of slipping is reduced and stockings (including compression stockings) can be worn immediately after use.
When should Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Cream NOT be used?
Do NOT use Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Cream if you are allergic to any ingredients listed (see Ingredients tab for full list). Allpresan Intense Diabetic Foam Cream should not be used on infants or children under the age of 5. Urea can increase the release of other active ingredients from topical products and promote their penetration into the skin.
