What is FlexiSEQ?
FlexiSEQ Joint Wear & Tear is a drug-free gel designed to help relieve joint pain and stiffness associated with everyday wear and tear. It contains plant-based lubricants and is applied directly to the skin around the affected joints.
What is FlexiSEQ gel used for?
FlexiSEQ is used to:
- relieve pain, such as neck pain, back pain and knee pain
- reduce stiffness
- improve mobility
- help restore joint function
How does FlexiSEQ work?
FlexiSEQ contains tiny lipid spheres known as Sequessome vesicles. These are designed to pass through the skin after the gel’s been applied, and work alongside your body's naturally occurring lubricants.
How long does it take to work?
FlexiSEQ may help your joints feel more supple, flexible and mobile soon after application and massage. However, it may take several days of regular use before you experience the full benefits.
How long does it last?
FlexiSEQ should be applied twice a day on a continuous basis for the best results. Once opened, the product should be used within three months.
How to use FlexiSEQ Joint Wear & Tear
To use FlexiSEQ, you should:
- Massage the gel onto clean, dry skin, using enough gel to evenly cover the area around the joint.
- Leave to dry on the skin for around 10 minutes.
- Apply twice daily, in the morning and evening.
Possible FlexiSEQ side effects
Like all medicines, FlexiSEQ may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. These side effects may include:
- a rash
- dry skin
- itchiness
- redness of the skin
If these symptoms persist or you are concerned, you should consult a doctor or a pharmacist.
Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness.
Who shouldn’t use FlexiSEQ
Most adults can use FlexiSEQ, but there are times that it shouldn’t be used. To make sure it’s safe for you, tell your pharmacist during your consultation if you:
- have ever had an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients
- are pregnant or breastfeeding
As FlexiSEQ has not been tested on children, the use of FlexiSEQ on children is not advised.
