What is Compeed Extreme Blister Plasters?

Compeed Extreme Blister Plasters feature advanced hydrocolloid technology for instant pain relief and fast healing. The honeycomb design provides 20% extra cushioning for optimal comfort and protection during any high intensity activity. They’re designed for very painful blisters, such as those caused through sporting activities. This product contains 5 plasters.

How to use this product

Always use Compeed Extreme Blister Plasters exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Before you start, clean and dry skin, ensuring the blister area is free of creams and oils.

Remove the bottom paper, avoiding touching the adhesive side. Apply plaster firmly over the blister, ensuring the edges are well smoothed down. Leave in place until it starts to detach (please note, the plaster may stay in place up to several days). To remove plaster: do not pull upwards but slowly stretch along the skin.

How do blisters form?

Most of us get blisters from new, uncomfortable shoes, but you may be wondering how blisters actually occur. Blisters are usually caused from the skin being damaged by friction or heat, like the frequent rubbing of shoes or if your feet swell in the heat. The damaged upper layer of skin (epidermis) tears away from the layers beneath and fluid (serum) collects in the space to form a blister.
