Buy FreeStyle Libre 3 PLUS Sensor

The FreeStyle Libre 3 PLUS Sensor offers a discreet and convenient way to manage diabetes. As the world’s smallest sensor (smaller than a £1 coin!), it provides up to 15 days of accurate, stable and consistent glucose readings - one of the longest wear times available.

This sensor delivers real-time glucose readings updated every minute, which are sent directly to your compatible smartphone without scanning.

With an extended 15-day wear period, you experience fewer sensor changes and less disruption to your daily routine. Optional alerts notify you instantly if your glucose levels are too high or too low, helping you take action if needed.

Designed for comfort and discretion, the sensor is compact (21 mm x 2.9 mm) and water-resistant, allowing you to continue your daily activities with confidence.

The Libre 3 PLUS sensor works with the mylife Loop system, which includes the mylife CamAPS FX app and the mylife YpsoPump insulin pump. For more details on using the Libre 3 PLUS sensor with mylife Loop, check the instructions in the mylife CamAPS FX app.

This is a pack of 3 sensors and has a total wear period of 45 days.

Directions

Download and set up the app on your smartphone. Select a site on the back of your upper arm. Clean skin with non-moisturising, fragrance-free soap and water.

Use an alcohol wipe to remove any oily residue and let it air dry. Unscrew the cap from the applicator and place the sensor over the back of your upper arm.

Do not put the cap back on, as it may damage the sensor. To apply the sensor, press firmly and listen for the click. Pull back slowly after a few seconds.

The device can be worn at all times. However, it must be removed for the following medical scans:

  • MRI
  • CT scan
  • Diathermy treatment
  • X-ray

Warnings

The FreeStyle Libre 3 PLUS Sensor is approved for use in people with diabetes aged 2 years and older.

I upgraded to the Libre 3 and 3+ at the end of last year. They provide a reliable and constant readout my blood glucose levels. The sensors are pricey at £80 but the peace of mind is invaluable.
