What is Doctor Gut Bloating Relief?

Doctor Gut Bloating Relief capsules contain the two active ingredients dioscimite and simethicone to quickly and effectively relieve abdominal pain, bloating, belching and flatulence. Diosmectite, a natural mineral clay, works by capturing toxins, bacteria and rotavirus, preventing them from entering the intestinal membranes where they can cause gastrointestinal symptoms. Whereas simethicone works by joining together small gas bubbles into larger bubbles that can pass easily through the body.

What is the recommended dosage?

Always take Doctor Gut Bloating Relief capsules exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Take 1 capsule 3 times per day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

How does simethicone relieve bloating?

If you’re feeling bloated and gassy, the best medicine to try is simethicone, which works by bringing together the small gas bubbles in your gut to form bigger bubbles that can pass through your body more easily.

What causes trapped wind?

There are many things that can cause trapped wind, like swallowing too much air when eating or talking - this is typically when you’re eating too fast, chewing gum, or drinking something fizzy. Certain foods (beans, cabbage, sprouts and onions, for example) can cause trapped wind as they create gas while your body digests them. Trapped wind can also occur when you consume something you're intolerant to, like milk if you’re lactose intolerant. If you suffer from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), trapped wind may be one of your symptoms.

What ingredients are included in Doctor Gut Bloating Relief?

Doctor Gut Bloating Relief contains the natural mineral clay diosmectite which captures toxins, bacteria and rotavirus, preventing them from entering the intestinal membranes where they can cause gastrointestinal symptoms such as bloating, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. Also, diosmectite can  interact with the gastrointestinal mucus layer and increase its resistance to damaging agents.

Is Doctor Gut Bloating Relief suitable for children?

Doctor Gut Bloating Relief capsules are suitable for children aged 12 years and over. If you’re looking for a treatment to relieve bloating in a child under the age of 12, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice on alternative treatment options.

Is Doctor Gut Bloating Relief suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, you must ask your doctor or Chemist4U pharmacist for advice before taking these capsules.
