What is Tiger Balm Red?

Tiger Balm Red is a herbal ointment that can be used to relieve a variety of aches and pains. It is inspired by years of traditional Chinese medicine and is perfect for those who are looking for a herbal pain relief alternative. Tiger Balm Red combines a variety of herbs and oils to create an aromatic formula that soothes sore and aching muscles. If you’re looking for effective relief for aches and pains, try Tiger Balm Red ointment.

What causes our muscles to ache?

It’s a myth that you need to be some kind of athlete or gym addict to suffer with muscle pain. Aches and pains in our muscles can be caused by a variety of factors including:

  • Overuse or strain on a muscle
  • Taking part in a physical activity that you are not used to
  • An injury such as a strain or sprain
  • Muscle tension

Most muscle pain is mild and not a cause for concern. You can treat most types of mild muscle pain at home by resting the affected area, applying pain relief products or using hot/cold therapy. To avoid suffering with muscle pain in future, ensure that you stretch properly before any exercise and use relaxation techniques to reduce muscle tension.

How can Tiger Balm help to ease aches and pains?

Tiger balm contains a blend of herbal ingredients that can help to soothe sore and aching muscles. It works by creating a cooling and heating sensation which soothes the area after application. It contains a powerful formula of herbs and natural oils, that work together to ease aches and pains in the muscles:

  • Natural camphor – can be used to relieve pain, irritation, congestion and inflammation
  • Menthol – causes the cool and warm sensations, to soothe the skin
  • Clove oil – natural anaesthetic
  • Cajuput oil – can relieve pain
  • Cinammon oil – can stimulate circulation and help to relieve pain
  • Dementholised mint oil – can be used for topical pain relief
  • Yellow soft paraffin and hard paraffin
