The Scholl Velvet Smooth Electric Foot File comes with 2 different heads which can be used to exfoliate your dry or hard skin. The exfoliating brush can be used on your feet and lower legs to remove dry, flaky skin. Then you can use the filing head to remove hard skin build-up from your feet and heels. The safety mechanism detects when you’re using too much pressure on your skin and automatically stops, helping to prevent damage to your skin.

How to use this product

Start by using the exfoliation roller brush head and run it over the skin on your feet and lower legs for gentle exfoliation of flaky, dry skin. Follow up with the regular coarse roller brush over areas of hard skin that have built up on your feet, for example, on your heels. Don’t use either roller head for more than 3 – 4 seconds in any one area of skin.

Can I use this product if I have diabetes?

This foot file is not suitable for those with diabetes or poor blood circulation. This is because those with these conditions may be more likely to experience a loss of feeling in their feet, which could make them unaware of pain or discomfort this device could cause. Poor circulation can also make it more difficult for sores on the feet to heal, which could be problematic when using this device.

When should this product not be used?

The Scholl Velvet Smooth Electric Foot File is not suitable for use by children. For use on the feet and lower legs only, do not use on any other areas of the body. Do not use on broken, sore, irritated, or damaged skin. If you have a dermatological condition, do not use the exfoliation brush on your skin. Keep any long hair away from this device while in use. If you experience any discomfort or irritation while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if necessary.
