What is Scholl Pressure Point Foam Padding?

Scholl Pressure Point Foam Padding helps to relieve pressure and friction on areas of your skin that are painful and irritated. This product contains 1 sheet of padding which uses dermatologically tested adhesive to help prevent irritation while relieving pressure and letting your skin heal in its own time. The foam can be cut to whatever size and shape you need, making it perfect for use on your heels, toes, the balls of your feet, or wherever else you may need it.

Why would I need pressure point padding?

There are a number of reasons you may need foam padding to help to relieve pressure on your skin. For example, you may have a painful corn, callus, verruca, or another area of irritated skin that becomes painful when your shoes rub against the affected area. As well as this, corns and calluses are caused by pressure and friction on your skin, but a layer of foam padding can ease this and help to reduce both corns and calluses.

What are corns and calluses?

Corns and calluses are areas of hard skin that form when your skin suffers through regular pressure or friction, for example, if you wear ill-fitting shoes that rub on your feet. Corns are typically small, circular areas of skin, whereas calluses are less defined and often make your skin turn a yellowish colour. Corns and calluses are both harmless but can be irritating, which is why many people try to treat them and reduce the pressure and friction on their skin that causes them.

How to use this product

Before using Scholl Pressure Point Foam Padding, make sure your feet are clean and dry. Cut your foam into the best shape for the area you are trying to treat and then remove the backing paper. Press the foam to your skin, pressing firmly to ensure that it is properly attached. If the skin is broken, apply foam over the top of first aid dressing.

When should Scholl Pressure Point Foam Padding not be used?

For external use only. If you experience any irritation while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if irritation persists. If you suffer from diabetes or circulatory issues, speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this or any other kind of foot care product.

How to store this product

Store in a cool, dry place which is out of direct sunlight. If the seal on the pack is broken, do not use this product. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Brilliant product, the padding is ' material like' rather than the ' fluffy type' which I don't like. Great.
