Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment is a treatment for fungal nail infections which works to kill nail fungus while preventing the spread of infection to your other nails. Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment is discreet and simple to use, protecting your nail and helping a healthy nail to grow back in its place.
What are fungal nail infections?
Fungal nail infections happen when a fungus manages to invade the underside of your nail, starting at the edge of the nail and spreading inwards as the fungus grows. It can make your nail discoloured and brittle, sometimes making the nail come away from the nail bed. This can be quite painful, leaving you looking for a way to treat the infection and heal your nail.
How does Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment work?
Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment uses an advanced formula which penetrates your nail, helping to provide treatment inside and out. It helps to make your nail look healthier and stops the infection from coming back.
How long does this treatment take to work?
The entirety of your Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment will take 9 months to complete, however, you will start to see visible results after the first phase of treatment has completed. This will take 4 weeks, and by this time the level of discolouration on your nail will be reduced. In the following months, you will be protecting your nail as the remaining infection grows out, leaving healthy nail underneath.
Can I use this product if I am diabetic?
If you are diabetic you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment or any other foot care product. Your foot condition may need alternative treatment to be carried out by a healthcare professional.
Can I use this product if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
You should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using Scholl Fungal Nail treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some medications may not be safe for you or your baby during this time, but a medical professional can help you to make the best choices for both you and your child.
Can I use this product at the same time as other medication?
If you are using any other medication, especially topical medication applied to your feet, you should speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before using this product. Some medications can interact when used together, making them less effective or causing unwanted effects, so always be sure to check before using medications at the same time.
How to use Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment
Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment has two stages of treatment which work to kill the nail fungus and prevent the infection from spreading to other nails.
- In the first stage of treatment, you use the nail files included to file the surface of the infected nail, removing the top layers of the nail. Then you will apply the advanced nail liquid to the surface of your nail using a brush, applying in the same way you would use cosmetic nail varnish. You’ll do this every day for seven days, then once a week for three more weeks.
- In the second stage of treatment, you will apply the advanced nail liquid to your nail once a week for nine months to avoid reinfection.
When should Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment not be used?
Do not use Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment on broken skin or any other foot conditions. Avoid getting Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment in your eyes or on your skin. To avoid the spread of infection, never reuse the files included in this kit. Always replace cap after using this product. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients in this product.
Does this treatment have any side effects?
Like all medication, Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment can have side effects, although not everyone will experience them. If you experience any irritation or side effects while using this product, stop use immediately and speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist. How to store this product
Store in a cool, dry place which is below 20 degrees C. Do not use this product if the expiration date printed on the packaging has passed. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment has been designed system for the treatment of fungal nail. It works by penetrating the nail to kill the fungus at its source. It also helps to prevent the spread of the fungus and protects against recurrence.
Terbinafine tablets are prescribed by GPs to treat fungal nail infections and fungal skin infections, such as ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris) and athlete's foot (tinea pedis).
These two products can be used in combination to treat fungal nail infections, as no contraindications are shown.
