Buy Soolantra
Soolantra is a topical treatment for rosacea containing the active ingredient ivermectin (10mg/g), an antiparasitic drug that belongs to a group of medicines called avermectins. Its anti-inflammatory properties can reduce facial redness and spots associated with rosacea.
Directions
Always use Soolantra exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as your doctor / Chemist4U pharmacist has told you. Soolantra should only be used on the skin of the face - do not use on any other parts of the body. The recommended dose is one application per day. Apply a pea size amount of the cream to the forehead, chin, nose and each cheek, then spread the cream thinly across the face. Always apply Soolantra before any other cosmetics.
Side Effects
Like all medicines, Soolantra may cause side effects in some people, but these won’t affect everybody. Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction, symptoms of which include swelling of the face and throat, skin rash, breathing difficulties and/or loss of consciousness. Side effects include:
- Burning feeling of the skin
- Irritation of the skin
- Itching of the skin
- Dry skin
- Rosacea aggravation (this should subside within 1 week of starting treatment)
If you experience any side effects, including any not included in the patient information leaflet, you can report them using the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme.
