What is Regaine For Women solution?

Regaine for Women is a solution which works to help your hair grow back stronger when you’re suffering from hair loss that runs in your family. Regaine for women is simple to apply and only needs to be used twice a day.

Why am I losing my hair?

If you’re a woman, the most common reason for hair loss is female pattern baldness, otherwise known as hereditary hair loss, which runs in your family. This makes your hair follicles shrink, which causes your hair to become thinner and lighter as it grows.

How does Regaine for Women work to treat hair loss?

Regaine solution uses the active ingredient Minoxidil which is thought to work by encouraging blood flow to your scalp and the hair follicles there. This helps nutrients flow into your hair, making it grow back healthier, it also helps your hair follicles to grow.

How to use Regaine For Women solution.

Part your hair in the affected area so as much of your scalp is as visible as possible. Aim the spray pump toward the centre of the scalp and spray once, massage the solution into the area with your fingertips. Repeat this 5 more times for a total of 6 sprays. This delivers a 1ml dose of Regaine solution. Do this twice a day.

When should Regaine For Women not be used?

Regaine for Women is not suitable for those under the age of 18 or those over the age of 65. Do not use Regaine for Women if you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. You should not use Regaine for Women if you have had an allergic reaction to minoxidil, ethanol, propylene glycol or any other listed products.

Do not use Regaine for Women if you have:

  • Hair loss caused by drug treatment.
  • Total baldness or complete loss of all body hair.
  • Sudden or unexpected hair loss, or hair loss where the cause is unknown.
  • Any condition which affects your scalp, including sunburn and psoriasis.
  • A shaved scalp.

I finished my course of antibiotics in March and my hair is now falling out. Will I be able to use this regain for women? It says not if Hair loss is caused by drug treatment but I finished in March after having meningitis and sepsis.

It would be best to have a discussion with your prescribing GP to understand the cause of the hair loss. It may be necessary to have blood tests before starting any treatment. Regaine is only to be used for mild hereditary hair loss.

I have PCOS and losing hair - can I use this?

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormone disorder that can cause a range of symptoms, including hirsutism, which is excess facial and body hair.

Any hair that you lose due to PCOS won’t grow back on its own. But, with treatment, you may be able to stimulate the growth of new hair. Plus, there are several things you can do to mask PCOS-related hair loss.

Minoxidil is the only approved drug for treating female pattern baldness. It’s a topical treatment that you apply to your scalp daily. It promotes hair growth and can even give it a thicker appearance.

My hair has really thinned and become a lot finer at the age of 21. Am I okay to use this to try and regrow hair? I have been using and trying many different methods such as hair thickening treatments and thickener shampoo and anything else you could think of. I haven’t contacted a GP or doctor or anyone as I don’t have baldness but I can feel that my hair is significantly thinner than when I was 17/18. I don’t know what to do and I have lost a lot of confidence because of this. Please help? Thank you.

Regaine for women can help with thinning hair and baldness. Regaine solution uses the active ingredient Minoxidil which is thought to work by encouraging blood flow to your scalp and the hair follicles there. This helps nutrients flow into your hair, making it grow back healthier, it also helps your hair follicles to grow. Please read the warnings and only use if it is suitable for you.

I have thinning bald parts around my hairline could possibly be due to me tying up my hair all the time as a teenager. Will this fix it !

REGAINE for Women works by helping to reactivate your inactive hair follicles. It's proven to regrow hair in 8 out of 10 women and, with daily use, clinically visible results can be seen as early as 12 weeks.
