What are Joy-Rides travel sickness tablets?
Joy-Rides travel sickness tablets are a remedy for travel sickness that can be used in children as young as three. If you’re planning a holiday or trip and know that your little one suffers from travel sickness, Joy-Rides travel sickness tablets could be just what you need to make your journey a pleasant one.
Why does my child suffer from travel sickness?
Travel sickness can happen when you’re travelling in a car, aeroplane, or boat when your inner ear sends messages to your brain to let it know you’re moving. Your eyes tell your brain different information, making your brain confused. This is what makes your child feel sick or vomit when you’re travelling.
How do Joy-Rides travel sickness tablets treat travel sickness?
Joy-Rides travel sickness tablets relieve travel sickness by using the active ingredient hyoscine hydrobromide. This ingredient acts on the brain to block signals of nausea from travelling to your stomach.
Could these tablets be used to treat any other conditions?
Because the active ingredient is hyoscine, these tablets can be used to treat the effects of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Hyoscine is used as the active ingredient in IBS treatments by Buscopan.
