Are Kwells Kids tablets right for my child?

Kwells Kids tablets are a fast and effective remedy for motion sickness that can relieve these symptoms in children. If you’re about to take a trip with your little one, Kwells Kids tablets can help to relieve the discomfort and distress caused by motion sickness, making your journey a pleasant one.

How does Kwells Kids work?

Kwells Kids tablets work by targeting the delicate balancing organs in the ear which are disturbed by motion sickness and the nerves responsible for nausea. This helps to prevent travel sickness before it even starts so your kids can enjoy their journey. These tablets can be taken up to 30 minutes before the start of your journey and feature a convenient scoreline, making them easy to halve so your child can easily take the most effective amount of Kwells Kids for them.

Will these tablets make my kids feel drowsy?

Kwells Kids tablets may make you drowsy, so do not leave any children who have taken this product unattended. If you feel sleepy after taking Kwells Kids do not attempt to drive or operate machinery or tools. Drinking alcohol while taking Kwells Kids could make you feel drowsier and is not recommended.

How to take Kwells Kids tablets

In children aged over 10, give them one or two tablets every six hours, as needed. In children aged 4 to 10, provide half or one tablet every 6 hours as needed. Do not give your child this medication more than three times in 24 hours. Tablets can be taken up to 30 minutes before travelling and can be sucked, chewed or swallowed.

Do I need a prescription for Kwells Kids tablets?

You do not need a prescription for Kwells Kids tablets, however you will be asked to complete a short medical questionnaire by your Chemist-4-U pharmacist before we can take your order. This includes some simple questions that all pharmacies legally are required to ask before supplying this kind of product. This helps our pharmacy team to be sure that this product is the best choice for you.

Medicines and their possible side effects can affect individual people in different ways. The following are some of the side effects that are known to be associated with hyoscine hydrobromide. Just because a side effect is stated here does not mean that all children using Kwells kids will experience that or any side effect.

Dry mouth.
Drowsiness.
Dizziness.
Blurred vision or difficulty focusing.
Dilated pupils.
Reduced sweating.
Restlessness.
Confusion.
Hallucinations.
Difficulty passing urine.
Rash.
Kwells kids tablets may cause drowsiness and blurred vision. If your child is affected in this way they should avoid potentially hazardous activities such as riding bikes. You should not leave your child unattended after giving them this medicine.
Your child should not drink alcohol while taking Kwells kids, as it is likely to make the above side effects worse.
If your child has persistent vomiting that is not due to travel sickness, it is important to see a doctor. You should not continue to use Kwells kids, because vomiting is a symptom of various conditions and the tablets could delay early diagnosis.

Kwells kids travel sickness tablets melt in the mouth and provide fast relief from motion sickness.

The active ingredient is Hyoscine hydrobromide, this acts on the nerves that create nausea. We understand that the tablets are strawberry ???? flavoured

It's really dependent on the pharmacy and pharmacist. Most pharmacies don't sell medication to under 16s, but the pharmacist would make an assessment on the individual
