What are Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets?

Kwells Travel Sickness tablets are a quick and easy solution to motion sickness. They get to work within just 20 – 30 minutes, helping to prevent nausea as you travel. They’re perfect for anyone who plans on travelling, whether it be by car, boat, or aeroplane.

Is this product right for me?

Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets are the perfect solution for anyone suffering from the discomfort of travel sickness. If you’re looking for a fast and effective treatment for travel sickness, these easy to take tablets are a great solution. They can be used by children as young as 10, so they’re perfect for the whole family.

How will this product help with motion sickness?

Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets use the active ingredient hyoscine hydrobromide, which reduces the effect of movement on the delicate inner ear organs and targets the nerves responsible for nausea. This stops you from feeling sick, so you can make it through your journey.

Kwells or Stugeron - what’s the difference?

Stugeron is a travel sickness treatment containing the sedative antihistamine cinnarizine. Kwells is the most effective travel sickness treatment out of the two. However, Stugeron may be recommended if the user is allergic, sensitive or has experienced side effects from taking Kwells.

Kwells may also not be suitable for users with high blood pressure (hypertension) or heart disease.

Can I take these tablets if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Do not take Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless told to by your doctor or midwife.

Can I drive after taking these tablets?

Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets can make you drowsy, so do not drive or operate machinery or tools after using this product unless you are sure you are not affected in this way. If you are planning on taking a trip that would need you to drive, consider this before taking these tablets.

Children who have taken these tablets should not be left unattended as they may become drowsy.

Can I drink alcohol after taking this product?

Do not drink alcohol while using Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets, as this can make you feel drowsier.

Can I use these tablets at the same time as other medication?

Speak to your doctor or Chemist 4 U pharmacist before taking this product if you are on any other medication, as the two may not be suitable to use together. Do not take these tablets with any of the following medications unless told to by your doctor:

  • Amantadine (an antiviral)
  • Antihistamines
  • Antipsychotics
  • Antidepressants
  • Linezolid (an antibiotic)
  • Domperidone and metoclopramide, which are used for nausea and vomiting
  • Sublingual nitrates, which are used for angina

Can I buy Kwells Travel Sickness Tablets over the counter?

You do not need a prescription for Kwells Tablets, however, you will be asked to complete a short medical questionnaire by your Chemist-4-U pharmacist before we can take your order. This includes some simple questions that all pharmacies legally are required to ask before supplying this kind of product. This helps our pharmacy team to be sure that this product is the best choice for you.
