How will Hylo-Tears help to hydrate my dry eyes?
Hylo-Tears eye drops contain an active ingredient called sodium hyaluronate, which helps to replenish your natural tear film. It works like your natural tears to hydrate and lubricate your dry eyes. This helps to ease your irritation and reduce that gritty, itchy feeling in your tired eyes.
What is the difference between Hylo-Tear and Hylo-Forte eye drops?
Hylo-Tear and Hylo-Forte eye drops are very similar, as they use the same active ingredient and soothe your dry eyes in the same way. The difference between the two is that Hylo-Tear eye drops contain a 0.1% solution of sodium hyaluronate, where Hylo-Forte eye drops use a 0.2% solution, making them stronger. This means that Hylo-Tear eye drops are better for mild to moderate cases of dry eyes and Hylo-Forte eye drops are better for severe or persistent cases.
Can I use these eye drops with my contact lenses?
Hylo-Tear eye drops can be used with all different types of contact lenses, perfect for people who find that their contacts dry out their eyes as the day goes on. However, if you’re ever worried about whether your contact lenses are compatible with eye drops, we’d recommend speaking to your optometrist for advice.
