FreeStyle Libre 2 directions

Download and set up the app on your smartphone. Then, you can apply the sensor. Make sure the area you are applying the sensor to is clean and dry. 

Unscrew the cap of the sensor applicator and put it to one side. Place the sensor applicator over your arm. Press down on it firmly to place the sensor on the back of your upper arm. Listen for a click and wait for a few seconds. Gently and slowly pull the sensor applicator away from your arm.

The device can be worn at all times. However, it must be removed for the following medical scans:

  • MRI 
  • CT scan 
  • Diathermy treatment 
  • X-ray

Warnings

FreeStyle Libre 2 is not suitable for children under 4 years old.

I have used Libre 2 sensors in the past and they are good, efficient way of keeping tabs on your blood sugars. I have yet to start using these but am confident they will provide a satisfactory service.

Great product, it is as accurate as my glucose testing kit ( sometimes I compare readings ) no more needle pricks i would recommend it as it only needs changing every 15 days
